Supporting Your Mental Wellbeing with Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Techniques
I’m Rebecca and I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist. I have also spent the last decade working as a Mental Health Nurse. Working with people to support them in improving and managing their mental health and wellbeing has always been a passion of mine, and sitting with people in uncomfortable, challenging or distressing situations has always been a feature of my career. I chose to become a hypnotherapist when a family member had hypnotherapy and saw amazing results in a very short time frame. I knew this was something I wanted to be able to help others achieve for themselves.

What Is Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH)?
When you’re looking for support it can be overwhelming trying to work out which approach is right for you and navigate a whole new world of terminology!
In simple terms, Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is an evidence based therapy. This means it has been studied in clinical research and shown to be effective. There’s no ‘woo woo’ here. If you are hoping I can swing a pocket watch in front of your eyes and make your problem disappear, then I’m afraid I’m not the therapist for you. You have an important and active role in therapy to make the changes you would like to see.
